P.S. keep on believing

When life gives you lemons, we make lemonade right? Well when life gives you problem after problem, heartbreak after heartbreak... what are we supposed to make?

Life can be extra complicated in my opinion, we all struggle either internally or externally, yet all we ever do is post on social media how great things are going. It's hard to not feel disappointed by life when everyone we know seems to be getting exactly what they asked for. That job, home, car and even spouse that you wanted. It's amazing how we continuously strive to have more and when we do, all we see are all the problems associated with it; in a way it's like our mind is trying to create as many obstacles as possible.

This past year and a half, I think we can all admit we've all faced many difficulties. Losing a job, home, maybe even some hopes and dreams. And for others like me it was a loved one... that person we never in a million years thought we would lose. And with all those obstacles in our path it can be hard to see that God is with us... yes even at times it when it seems impossible that we can experience the mercy of God.

I know, I know... struggles build character. They help make you who you are. That's what I believed too, but honestly having to experience problem after problem, loss after loss. It's hard to keep having faith.

But that is why I needed to create this blog. I won't say that I am an expert in overcoming obstacles because there is no perfect way to overcome them. I mean you and I will never experience the exact same thing, but I do hope that in these blogs I deliver, you will be able to realize that you are not alone in your journey to deepen your faith. Even through the many obstacles we may face always attempting to redirect our attention away from God, I want this blog to serve you as an aid that will help you continue to fight for your faith. I have gotten to a place in my life where no matter the obstacle I can still find peace and I continue to have faith that God's plan is bigger than any discomfort I face or will face. And I 100% believe that God's timing is perfect; However, I also realize that life has a way to get you down in ways that you don't think you'll ever overcome. But you will. I have faith and hope that these words help you get to a place where you will continue to put Christ at the center of your life and overcome all of life's obstacles.

That's why I encourage you to keep on believing. Even when things don't seem to go your way... God is with you and Christ will walk with you through the battlefield.
